WINDHOEK, 16 JUN (NAMPA) - President Hage Geingob on Thursday welcomed Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to Namibia. Mukherjee arrived in Namibia on Wednesday afternoon with a 76-member delegation for a three-day State visit. They were welcomed at State House in the capital with a 21-gun salute and singing of both countries’ national anthems. The two countries then signed a memorandum of agreement for the establishment of a center of excellence in the area of technology and technical cooperation in the area of capacity building of public officials.
