“I got into music during the pandemic; I started making music on my phone and sharing it with friends,” Yeezir recalls. “Their positive feedback gave me the confidence I lacked. With everyone stuck at home, I dove deeper into my craft, and that’s when my current manager discovered me.”
That discovery led to Yeezir stepping into a studio for the first time, where he recorded his debut track, “Rolls Royce.” He describes the moment as pivotal for his career: “I knew that if I made my first song, I’d be on my way. I went all in because I believed in my music—I knew I was different.”
Currently, Yeezir’s hit single “Pretty Vibes” showcases his magnetic appeal, crossing two million views for the music video alone. Another recent song, “Ila Apa,” added to his accolades by reaching one million views just weeks ago.

I encourage other artists to pursue monetization too.”
The artist believes corporate investment is essential for nurturing local talent. “Many musicians in Namibia have immense potential, but they need funding. Talent alone won’t cut it. You need a support system to help expose you to the world.”
Fans can look forward to an exciting year ahead, as Yeezir promises a flurry of new music and visuals. “I’m a man of surprises, so I don’t want to reveal too much, but I can assure you that I’m working on some incredible stuff,” he reveals with enthusiasm.
